Zoe Wren ~ BSc, MSc, MBACP, BPC
I am a psychodynamic therapist with a working background in the NHS.
I have experience working with eating disorders, abuse, bereavement, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-harm, addiction, issues surrounding identity, gender and sexuality and relationship problems.
I know that therapy can be daunting. It’s a relationship unlike those we experience in every day life. All therapists have to have therapy themselves throughout their training, so I fully understand how vulnerable one can feel when embarking upon this alien experience. However, the unique nature of the therapeutic relationship can be liberating. It provides an opportunity to step back from expectations into a non-judgemental, empathetic and reflective space where you can feel listened to and truly heard.
“Empathy is the capacity to think and feel oneself into the inner life of another person”
~ Heinz Kohut
